Haha
What a great line for a blog post about my new phone.
Yesterday was the end of my 2 year contract, and marked my ability to finally get rid of my horrid Motorola Krzr. This was by far the worst phone I have ever had. The screen would flip upside down, the response time was completely unreasonable, and it just sucked.
For the past 6 months I have been pondering what phone I wanted to get next, and doing a lot of research on what I would like physically as well as had the capabilities I was looking for.
After learning that while the Instinct does mostly what I need, it lacks one of the key features I am looking for, which is the ability to use GPS and text/answer a phone call at the same time.
After making my way to the insanely huge and interesting Arizona Mills, I found the Sprint store and started to make my final walk through and come to a decision.
For a little over a day now, I have been the proud owner of a Blackberry Curve. It was a hard decision between that and the Pearl, and I really thought that the Curve would be too big for me, but I have to admit I really like it. I was also able to stay on an unlimited data plan but not unlimited minutes, which still gave me my GD discount. With the Instinct, I would’ve needed the simply everything plan, in which no discounts apply because it already is a large discount.
I have managed to navigate myself around it for the most part without using the manual. I am still trying to figure out how to assign ring tones to text messages and non phone calls as well as how to organize my contacts into groups, but other than a few minor things I love it. Having multiple applications open at the same time is great. It also recognized one of my pop email accounts without entering any server information.
I have 30 days to return it if I don’t like it, but I don’t see that happening.
Yay curve!!
