Last night I was one of the very elite in attendance at the Petro Cereal Party, held by the amazing Matt and Tracie Petro (with a special appearance by the Petro Kitchen). All those in attendance were to bring a box of cereal, and milk and toppings were provided. Additionally, one of Tyson Crosbie’s art pieces is hanging in the Petro living room for awhile and so it was partially a way to get to see some fantastic art.
The party was a great success. As a short recap, here are the lessons learned:
- GWAR is always a good conversation topic
- There are hot pink/white pinstriped fedoras available to purchase, which I happened to order last night. (thanks @tambre)
- Cereal is good at any time of the day and sometimes even with baileys.
- Right handed people think they are better than left handed.
- @rachelreese and I should hang out more often
- Who needs blimps anymore when planes can have electronic scrolling signs under their wings?
- Many things can become sexual innuendos
- It can be tough to write a letter to someone about their artwork.
- The Petros throw one hell of a party
- What I tell everyone is my job is just a facade.
- Kangaroo shoes can hold more than just loose change
- I think I may have just joined a new religious cult
- Cereal is reason enough to throw a party, but good artwork always helps too!
- Phoenix is awesome and I love my group of friends.
Thanks to everyone that came and the Petros for throwing an amazing party! I miss it already!!
