WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

My taxes are finally done. I received all the correct information I needed and was able to successfully file!

That’s all, I don’t have much more to say about that.

So glad it’s finally done!

It’s a rainy gray morning here in Phoenix today. What a boring thing to write my first blog post in April about, but well, I’ve had a lot of stuff going on and haven’t had much time to blog. For once, I’ve been working on catching up on my sleep. I promise I’ll try to update a little bit on the past week or so over the weekend.

This morning I decided to get an early head start on the day. I have almost an entire walk-in closet full of clothes to wash. I am proud to say I am halfway done. I also have a kitchen to clean, of which I have also done half. I’m finally almost done filing my taxes as well. I’m just being my typical anal self and looking at them a million times before I e-file.

I was hoping to get a walk in. It looks like the sun is going to start to come out so maybe I will get my wish. Other than that I am going to have a overall relaxing weekend, especially since I ended up going out last night when the plan was to crash on my couch. I had to prove to my friends that I really am still alive and functional. Possible cookout tonight. Possible cookout tomorrow. Hopefully some pool tomorrow as well.

Hmm well that was kind of random. I’ll blog about more specifics later. Off to double check my taxes one last time and relax with the adorable sugar glider.

Oy. I haven’t done my own taxes in a few years because I had previously always had some crazy situation that made them complicated, such as having my own business and living in three states in one year.

I figured this year even though I had two states and a move, the move wasn’t as complicated as they were in the past, and I closed my business last year so I should be set. I decided that Thursday night was going to be the night I sat down and finished my taxes to see how much I can put towards my new Mac that I’ll be getting next week (more on that later).

Ends up I can’t complete them. There is an error on one of my W2 which could possibly mean someone owes me a refund for being overtaxes. Either way I cannot file until I receive at least a corrective W2. Shit. One more thing I have to wait on someone else for. Attempted to contact someone about it Friday and no avail.

After that I was frustrated I had set aside my whole night for that. Luckily Amy called and needed to get out so we headed to my pool area where we lost track of time. It was almost 1am before we left.

Taxes suck.
